MSBDR Multicast Training – Flood Recovery (11/07/2024)

Thank you for partnering with Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief to host a site for the presentation of Just In Time Response Training for Introduction to SBC DR Ministry and Flood Recovery. You should find all necessary information below.
Site Coordination Instructions:
Each hosting site is responsible for:
1. A stable high speed internet connection, large screen or projection capability suitable for the anticipated number of site participants, and computer/camera/mic for participant questions/comments.
* All sites are asked to access the link listed below between 5:30 PM and 5:45 PM. We will conduct a technology check at 5:45 PM for all sites to verify audio and video connections.
2. Administrative Assistance
* This will best be accomplished with 1-3 volunteers to coordinate the registration, required paperwork, photo, and collection of fees.
* Required paperwork is attached for duplication and distribution.
* Registration Sign-In Form (Sign-in list)– A complete listing of all training participants.
* Volunteer Information Sheet (per individual)– please check to insure that ALL requested information is completed on the submitted form.
* Volunteer Liability Waiver (per individual) – required of all credentialed volunteers. Please insure that the form is signed and that the name and signature match.
* Background Check Disclosure and Authorization (per individual) – please insure that SS# and current address is listed and that the form is signed.
* Participants may withhold their SS# and request that the MSBDR Office contact them for the information, but this will delay the processing of the Background Check.
* This form is shredded once the Background Check is requested.
* Collection of $10.00 Course Processing Fee. Each participant must cover the cost of the Background Check.
d. The hosting church or association will consolidate to one check from host site for submission to MSBDR Office along with required paperwork.
3. Credentialing Photograph
* A head and shoulders picture of the individual.
* May be taken on camera or phone.
* Individually identifiable.
* Use a 3×5 note card with the individuals name written in large bold dark letters. (Black sharpie/marker on white card)
* Insure that the card is held below the face (upper chest level)
* Pictures should be forward as a ”folder” or “ZIP” file containing all participants’ pictures.
* Files may be returned electronically and/or by flash drive with paperwork.
* Electronic submission (dvail@nullmbcb.org and hyates@nullmbcb.org )
4. Hosting sites are encouraged to provide snacks and drinks (water/soda/coffee) for registration and break times.
5. All paperwork and photographs must be returned to the MSBDR Office in a timely manner (within 5 business days, preferable)
