Our desire is to become more involved in missions through financial contributions, missions education, and mission activities.
Here’s how Gaston Baptist Church invests its overall budget in missions through other partnerships.
On the first Sunday morning of each month the men and boys are invited to attend the Brotherhood meeting at 7:30am. Breakfast is served and a guest speaker brings a challenge from God’s Word. Brotherhood provides an opportunity for fellowship with other men and discussion about mission projects that are available.
Missions education is a priority for our children as well. On Wednesday evenings, boys and girls meet to learn about our Southern Baptist missionaries around the world and to discuss how they can connect themselves to the work of missions. They also enjoy times of recreation and fellowship.
Belize Anchor Mission is the product of Darryl Hatfield and his parents Willie and Nellie Hatfield, who served the people of Belize in many ways.
Many of the church members of Gaston Baptist Church travel throughout the year to Copper Bank to help the pastor. If you would like to participate in a mission trip to Copper Bank, then please contact us.
Belize Anchor Mission has many ongoing needs. A mission house is in the process of being built. For a list of supplies needed, please contact us.
